WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give you an increase in certain statistics. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item by +3. A random substat is also increased with every upgrade.

The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless the item has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are not as valuable for those with higher variance because of the requirement to roll an exact version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader enables players to upgrade items their gear to a higher item level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be made on any kind of weapon or armor. This change allows players to upgrade their gear to the highest possible ilvl on all their characters instead of relying on seasonal loot.

Another significant change is that crests only have one purpose therefore it's essential to use them properly.
