It's quick and does an excellent job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It vacuums the carpeted areas extremely quickly, and the hardwood floors in the living room, and hallways in a single pass. The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum mop cleaner robot that mops in our review, but it has some unique features that make it worth considering. The X1 Omni is notable for its massive dock that doubles as a charging base for the robot, a sink for cleaning and two water tanks that are 4 liters in size. It also houses a 2.5-liter dust bin as well as the 2.5 milliliter dust bin.

The base has several control buttons that allow you to manually start cleaning tasks or recall the robot vacuum with mop, or run the dock's best automatic vacuum and mop emptying procedure. Press two of the buttons to switch on the child lock, which is a nice feature for parents who are worried about kids tinkering with the vacuum.

Although this is not a common occurrence however, it was a gruelling experience when it happened, especially since the X1 Omni doesn't come with an "stuck" status alert in its application.

Another potential downside is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between vacuuming and mopping modes during the cleaning process. You'll have to manually swap between the two modes, which isn't an issue apart from the fact that mopping pads haven't been cleaned and dried between uses which could lead to mildew or mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed the sleek, modern base and mopping pad. It's a significant contrast to the utilitarian, black bases of competitors like Roborock and iRobot and is a refreshing appearance in a market that is dominated by clunky boxy models.
