Path of Exile Item Upgrading

In Path of Exile, item upgrader upgrading is among the best ways to upgrade your equipment without relying on large-ticket drops or trade. This article will show you how to upgrade your items.

Upgrades to equipment grant an additional bonus to the item's stats. The amount of bonus varies based on the rarity and level of the upgrade component.

Components

Upgrade components are the parts that make your weapons and armor better. You can find them through destroying enemies, buying them from karma sellers or finding them in item-spheres. They can also be salvaged from equipment with them, or by utilizing an advanced salvage kit such as the Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool.
