The majority of robot vacuums and mops can be customised using a specialized app to save your home's maps setting cleaning schedules, and select mopping modes. They also allow you to alter suction power and fine tune the amount of water and the scrubbing action of your mop.

It's able to sweep and mop in one session and even lift its mop pads and brushes to stop soft surfaces from getting too wet. It can also avoid obstacles by spotting pet toys, plants and other small objects.

The robotic vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals which is higher than any other robot vac we've tested up to now. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation that tracks its position, preventing it from getting stuck on objects.

The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can apply constant pressure to the pad at over 6 Newtons to give a thorough clean. It also has an automatic mop lifting system, which lifts the pad as it moves from laminate to tile hardwood, carpet and rugs to avoid getting soaked by these soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be washed and heat-dried within the dock and the dust bin is automatically emptied and returned to it. This means you can leave it in place and forget it, and only need to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank on occasion.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I tested it with its normal mop and vac settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to get power hungry and return to its base for a recharge. This isn't that far from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is on the same level as other hybrids I've tried.

This is a very well-rounded and capable product, with the only drawback being the fact that it's costly. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a very tempting choice for anyone looking to ditch their old stick vacuums and mop. We highly recommend this model when you can justify the cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a top-of-the-line robot vacuum cleaners best vacuum and mop combination. The high price is justified by the robust features, including a large vacuuming capability and two mop heads that rotate. It also has an app-based controller that is smart and a powerful obstacle avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 euros, which is among the highest robotic vacuum and robot vacuum and mop mop combos available. In my tests, it was able to perform well across all areas of the home, removing 98.4% of debris on all floor types and managing to lift long hair without knots. The mops also performed admirably, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was due to their rotational movement and the powerful cleaning solution.

The L10S Ultra's most significant highlight is its docking station that is multi-functional. The dock emptys its dust bin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank to enable mopping, and dry the mop pads for you. The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance when compared to the other hybrid mop I tried. In addition the mops aren't adept at removing tough stains like those in the premium Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features, it requires regular maintenance. Its base station needs to be emptied, and the water and dust tanks should be cleaned, emptied and dried on a regular basis to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. It is also important to remember that the mop pads, that are bought separately, will need to be replaced on a regular basis too.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the money. If you're on a budget, I suggest considering a more rudimentary model that will allow you to save money while enjoying hands-free cleaning at home. It's important to remember that even the L10S Ultra is the best robot hoover robot vacuum and mop you can purchase however, its cost and constant maintenance will ultimately make it more of a desire than a need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you require to tidy up mess and clean dirt off your hard floors. This powerful robovac/mop combo is a mighty suction power of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts a large battery capacity that can be used for vacuuming as well as mowing. It's also fitted with an excellent obstacle-avoidance system. It has a roller-mop that cleans by itself which makes it stand out from other models which require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a major difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs of other robots. However, if you do opt for this feature, you'll need to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit you to use your own choice of cleaners.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, as did the majority of robots. It was quick to map a room, and it was able to navigate through furniture. The only problem is that it got stuck a couple times on carpets with longer piles and rugs during my tests however this can be improved when the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very powerful robot that can be bought at an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's cheapest mop and vacuum, but it has some outstanding features. The dock's multifunction emptying the robot's dirtbag, refilling its water tanks and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is done by the dock. The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning a large portion of a space before it needs to return to its dock and the vacuum's high suction is capable of removing debris and pet hair from carpets.

The app that runs the appliance is extensive, and provides a variety of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can choose to manually clean all areas that this device maps or select individual rooms, expandable zone, or a custom routine you've designed. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It makes use of the sensors on the mops to map the space and determine the most efficient way to clean it.

The Qrevo was a great performer during our tests, just like all the Roborock models that we've tested. Its navigation system is robust, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a systematic fashion. Its "Normal" pathing option covers the room thoroughly, without any major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance function works well too, but it's not as advanced as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like carpets with thick padding, but might not be able to detect smaller objects such as electrical wires and rug tassels.

One of the biggest flaws of this device is the absence of a mop after vacuum option which could be a problem for those who do a lot of vacuuming before cleaning with their robot. There's a good alternative: the app has the option to "clean up" at the end of each session. This lets you use the vacuum's mopping capability to remove the last remnants of dust and debris left behind by the vacuuming.
