Car seat bases help you get your baby into and out of the car safely. maxi cosi car seat frame-Cosi car seats come with base options that make getting your baby in and out of the car simpler and safer. They also make it faster.

Our newest car seat base for families, the FamilyFix 360 Pro features revolutionary SlideTech technology that rotates and slides your infant car seat towards you. Easy Installation

The most important purchase you can make for your child is a secure and safe car seat. To help ensure your child travels in safety the infant car seats are fitted with bases that make it easy for installation. You can select an ISOFIX base that comes with built-in rebound protection, or a FamilyFix 360 Pro base that rotates to allow you to easily get your child in and out. Both bases are compatible to our premium strollers, which allows you to create the complete travel system.

Our ISOFIX bases carseats and straps have a tightness indicator that changes from red to green. This confirms that the connection is secure. When the colour indicator turns to green, it means that the ISOFIX connectors are secured in the clips made of metal on the back of your vehicle. You will hear a click. We also include a support leg, a top tether and a base that will stop the car seat from moving forward during a crash. This helps keep your child in a straight position for a longer period of time.

We recommend fitting your baby's car seat to the rear position, as it is the most secure way to take them on a journey until they reach around 15 months old. Our CabrioFix i-Size ISOFIX base is designed to be simple and easy to set up using the vehicle's lower anchors. Simply push the indicators on either side of the base. Then locate the lower anchors in your vehicle and then press them until you hear the click.

After the lower anchors are firmly secured, thread the vehicle's seat belt through the buckle and guides of the car seat. Then, you can pull the longer part of the belt around the back of the seat and through the base of the holder. To ensure your child's security ensure that the belt is secured and put into the base.

Our FamilyFix 360 Pro base is equipped with the revolutionary SlideTech Technology, which allows you to turn the car seat in your direction by pressing a button located on the front of the base. This makes it easy to set up your child's car seat and remove them while watching him.

Extra Stay-In-Car

The maxi cosi car seat base is an excellent choice for parents who prioritize security, want to keep their infant in an infant carrier for a longer period of time, or require an infant car seat that can be used in conjunction with their current vehicle. It's a bit big however it provides a near-flat recline position, superior side impact protection, and excellent crash test results. The fabric of the seat is extremely soft and comfortable. This makes it a perfect place to nap for children on long road trips. It's soft and comfortable and the shell is a wrap around the padding, without being stiff or flimsy like other seats. ClimaFlow technology keeps the fabric cool in hot weather. This seat has a tiny cupholder that isn't ideal for large sippy cups or snack bags. The crotch buckle can cause a thumping sensation to children's thighs because it's short.

Built-In Rebound Protection

The built-in feature of rebound protection is excellent to limit side-to-side movement and reducing the force in crashes. It's a great thing that this car seat comes with it, as many do not. The system detects when a seat is not properly installed and applies a slight pressure to the chair's headrest to limit the movement. This prevents children from being thrown forwards in the event of an accident. It could make a big difference in how secure their seat is.

The seat is designed for infants from birth to 13kg, or around 18 months in group 0+ vehicles. This is quite a long time! It comes with a variety of safety features like Dorel's Air Protect, which limits impact forces to the child’s head. This is a feature we've found to be extremely crucial for the safety of young babies and toddlers.

The belt path indicators are yet another feature we love. They make it easy to see if you have the belt routed correctly. They are clearly marked and they pop out when the belt is pulled down to ensure that it's safe! This feature is extremely useful particularly for those who are new to the sport and may be confused as to how to route the belt.

The only thing that really stands out as a problem is the crotch buckle that is too short that can put children on their thighs and cause discomfort. It can be fixed by purchasing a crotch strap cover. It's a minor flaw, and we can forgive it as this seat has so many other awesome features!
