The Best Robot Vacuum That Mops

It's smaller than other options on this list making it easier to maneuver through tight corners and under furniture. It features a 220-degree Lidar that, when combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, offers some of my favorite navigation and object avoidance capabilities I've seen in a robotic vacuum. It has a hefty 4600mAh battery which lasts up to 170-minutes, if mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it is able to run longer in turbo). It will even return to its dock to replenish its battery during the cleaning.

It is very quick and does a great job cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It can vacuum carpeted rooms fast, and hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen, and hallways with just one pass. Its 8,000pa suction motor will quickly pick up dirt, crumbs and pet hair. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it detects carpets, and the dual side brush helps to remove debris from corners.

The mopping efficiency is less impressive, though not by a lot. The mop's rotating motor spins at a high velocity and pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, easily scrubbing up dirt and staining. I've noticed that the front arms stick out a bit more than other robots, which is helpful for getting into tight corners and on baseboards. The same front arms can also be used to scoop up larger objects like broken toys and books.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mop and vacuums I've tried. It doesn't make the same amount of noise while vacuuming or mopping and is quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The only issue is that the S1 Pro must use a proprietary cleaning solution for mopping and is sold separately from the vacuum. It's easy to install and is effective, but this is something you'll need to be aware of in case you're purchasing this vacuum solely for the reason of mopping.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo is different from other robot vacuum with mop vacuums in its class. It has a robust suite of features that make it a great option for homeowners looking for an extremely efficient, flexible and ad-hoc cleaning machine.

The device is equipped with an impressive and powerful cleaning system that combines LiDAR sensors with an RGB camera to map your home and identify furniture and other obstacles. It can then use this information to clean methodically and effectively. This will result in a thorough, consistent clean that's also fairly quick.

In terms of mopping, Q Revo's DuoRoller mop pads can be used to reach a wide range of surface areas. They can reach corners, baseboards, and other hard-to-reach spots. The side brush can be stretched out to reach the floor close to walls and other fixtures. The mop pads are washable and dry to eliminate odors and stop buildup.

Another feature worth mentioning is the customization options that are available through apps. The Q Revo lets you adjust the suction level and select a back-and forth or slightly random pattern. You can also alter the number of passes it must make, which will determine the speed at which the device can move through your home. You can also turn off the side brush to avoid damaging carpets and carpets.

This device has a fairly high price tag but has a variety of advanced features. It's crucial to note that it incurs periodic costs, such as mopping equipment and maintenance. For instance, the brushroll will need to be replaced after 300 hours or every six to 12 months. The Matrix Plus also did a remarkable job at collecting hair of pets. It was able capture many of the hair that shed by our cats, and even got into the nooks and crannies on our stairs where other robots had struggled. It was silent and also had a few lovely jingles to let you know when it was starting or finished its work.

The app was too easy and you had to switch the modules every time you switched between vacuuming and mops. The app cannot store multiple maps. This could be an issue if your house has several floors. The Matrix Plus is a good option for those looking for a smart robot that can perform both mopping and Best Robot Vacuum That Mops vacuuming.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive item in our review. However, it does have distinct features that are worth a look. The X1 Omni's biggest draw is its massive dock that serves as the robot vacuum and mop's charging base and housing for two 4-liter water tanks, a clean sink, and a 2.5-liter dust bin that is automatically eliminates.

The base comes with several control buttons that allow you to manually start cleaning tasks or recall the robot, or run the dock’s auto-emptying procedure. Press two buttons to turn off the child lock. This is a wonderful feature for parents who are concerned about their children messing around with the vacuum.

The Omni Omni, like other robotic vacuums, uses its camera to spot obstacles and furniture that are in its path. It will stay clear of them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.

Unfortunately this means that the X1 Omni will sometimes get so entangled with an obstacle--such as the power cord that is draped across a rug--that it becomes stuck and stops working until you free it. This was a rare incident however it was frustrating because the X1 doesn't have a "stuck status" alert on its app.

The X1 Omni is unable to automatically switch from mopping mode to vacuuming mode during a cleaning session. You'll need to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't that bad but the mopping pad doesn't get cleaned or dried between use. This can lead to mildew and mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed the sleek modern base and mopping pad. It's a big departure from the utilitarian all-black bases of competitors like Roborock or iRobot. And it's an excellent choice for an industry dominated by boxes.
