The latest model from iRobot happens to be its smartest, with advanced features including Enhanced Dirt Detection Technology and future compatibility with Matter (another company's robot vacuum best that can wash its own mop pads).

It's the only robotic mop or vacuum that scored a perfect 10 in our testing due to a mix of high-tech sensors that include cameras, a structured light system, and multiple lasers. The X40 Ultra is also the only robot in our tests that can fully autonomously refill and empty its base station and it boasts its own self-cleaning mop pads.

The X40, like other iRobot products, is easy to operate. It comes with an intuitive mobile application interface and is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Apple HomeKit. The only drawback is that it's an eerily noisy device, which can be an issue if you use it in the morning before work or in the evening as you attempt to sleep.

It's also quite expensive however, not as much as the Ecovacs S8 MaxV Ultra or the Roborock S8 Omni, which are both equally powerful and more attractive. It's a dual-purpose vacuum that's extremely powerful however it's more expensive and make more noise.

4. iRobot Roomba L20 Ultra

It can be used to design cleaning schedules, or to set up an automatic spot-clean. You can also use it to rank your most filthy areas for greater efficiency. The app comes with a variety of options, including seasonal suggestions, custom mapping, and advanced cleaning settings.

Its shape is more rectangular than most other robot vacuums, which means it can reach corners and underneath furniture more easily. It also has strong 8000 Pascal suction and intelligent combs for hair of pets. And you can set up a spot clean that intensely cleans a localized area.
