Path of Exile item upgrader Mod Upgrading

Players can upgrade their weapons and equipment with new attachments. They can also improve the base stats of the item or provide additional benefits. To upgrade an item, a player has to have it in their inventory, as well as access to the kiln.

Upgrade components

Leveling

The upgrade system in Path of Exile has some significant changes from previous versions. Gear is now broken down into tracks and items can only be upgraded a set number of times before they're "leveled out." The cost for upgrades is increased with each level however the materials required aren't as high. This allows players to focus their efforts on a couple of essential items and maximize their impact instead of spreading the cost of upgrades across several items.
