Prior to each mopping session the docking station on the S1 automatically empties its dustbin and refills its water tank with clean filtered ozonated water. The dock adds an extra-deep cleaning solution to the water. The S1 water tank can be able to accommodate 12 mopping sessions, however this will vary depending on the frequency you use the mop.

Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires regular maintenance to keep it working well. In order to do this, you'll have to clean the dirty water tank regularly to prevent it from clogging. Also, you'll need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to prevent them from becoming clogged with dirt or dust. Overall, the S1 is simple to maintain, particularly compared to other combinations that require more care.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The mopping capabilities are quite excellent, too, with a pair of spinning mop pads that actually lift and scrub floors, as opposed to simply dragging the pad over it. The mops are also cleaned using heated water and dried in the basestation when needed. The mops can also be filled at the top of the station as required.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame launched the high-end X30 Ultra earlier this year, but their new flagship model of robot vacuum and mop has even more impressive features. It has outstanding cleaning performance and hands-free maintenance which makes it a strong contender for our best robot vacuum that mops mop and robot vacuum list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush will ensure a thorough, customized clean is accomplished.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up fine and large debris from both hard floors and carpets. It was able to clean the dirtiest areas of our tests well while avoiding pet hairs and other dirt. The Q5 was among the few robots that we tested that did not have problems with high-pile carpets and rugs. However, it was able to not handle kitty litter or cable tangles. This isn't too surprising as it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle-avoidance features.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is the quietest robot vacuum we've ever tested. It also uses an innovative mapping system that lets it reach tight corners and corners that other vacuums can't.
