The only downside I've discovered with this model is that the VibraRise mop pad mount isn't movable. You can change the mopping cloth if required, but it's not easy to remove the mount for manual washing. I've noticed that any plush carpet that the robot vacuums with mop passes will be in contact with the rough Velcro-like fastener mechanism on the mount, and can cause scratches.

The S8 Pro Ultra has a variety of smart features that include support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. The Roborock app allows you to manage and set up these smart features. It also has maps and advanced mopping options. The app also lets you to schedule cleanings and monitor the battery life and maintain your components. You'll have to go through some hoops to activate voice control on this model. This is a shame considering how well-performing it is otherwise.
