WoW Upgrades - The Best item upgrade Upgrader

Upgrades provide a guaranteed boost to specific stats. Each upgrade boosts the item level by +3. A random additional substat is also boosted alongside each upgrade.

The more modernized gear generally has a more value in trade, unless it has inherently low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or a very high stat variance (like eth titan weapons). The latter see less value from upgrading due to the requirement to roll to get a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear to a higher level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of weapon or armor. The item used to upgrade the item will be consumed and can't be used again. Upgrades can be applied to enchantments.

You can upgrade your gear anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. It is recommended that you visit the upgrader at least once every couple of weeks to ensure that your equipment is up to date.

The cost of upgrading will depend on the current item level of the gear being upgraded, but will always be less expensive than buying new gear from other sources. Upgrades like upgrading a Benthic chest up to 385 ilvl will cost you 20 recycle points. If you purchase a similar item, it will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are functional items that are used to upgrade weapons tools, armor, and accessories. They can be purchased by players through NPCs who sell upgrades to item owners for various currencies. They can also find them in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade item can be applied to any tool, weapon or armor. The button will display the item's next level of upgrade, if there are enough materials.

Upgrade costs vary depending on the slot of the item and the current Item Level Upgrade level. For example weapons cost more than gloves, bracers, or bracers. Each upgrade cost 15 Flightstones plus a certain number of crests. Some upgrades give a discount on the Flightstones. Once an item has been upgraded to a certain amount it can be re-downgraded and sold to the upgrader at a lower cost.

Item upgraders can be found in many places including the main island, as well as a few outposts. The NPCs offer both an upgrade discount and the chance to acquire a new upgrade recipe. The discount for upgrading increases when more items are upgraded. It can also be increased by having players complete certain achievements or quests.

This change lets players upgrade their gear to the highest possible ilvl for all their characters instead of relying on seasonal loot.

Another notable change is that crests only have one purpose therefore it's essential to use them properly. For instance, it's a good idea to make use of all your Whelpling-rank crests on the top equipment you have and keep Drake and Wyrm crests for the next round of upgrades you're planning to make.
