WoW Upgrades - The item upgrader kit Upgrader

Upgrades provide a guaranteed boost to specific stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an item by 3. A random extra substat is also boosted alongside each upgrade.

The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless it is not required by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like Eth Titan weapons). Upgrades aren't as important for those with lower requirements due to the need to roll a perfect version.

These crests can then be exchanged at an Item level Upgrade upgrader NPC like Cuzolth in Dornogal or Vaskarn in Valdrakken, for the appropriate upgrade routes and steps.

Using these new currencies isn't too complicated, but the system does introduce some modifications to the upgrade process. When a piece reaches the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer) it will no longer require Flightstones. This change allows players to upgrade their equipment to the highest possible level on all their characters instead of relying on seasonal loot.

Another significant modification is that crests have one usage therefore it's essential to use them properly.
