Rerolling some upgraded items is only possible if the item that was upgraded was Epic Rare, Rare, or Unique. Extraordinary items can also be rerolled but the original stats are replaced with an uncapped bonus. This means that rerolling a Rare item will result in a Normal version the same type, whereas the rerolling of an Epic item will result in an elite version of the same kind.
