Slot Missions in Hogwarts

Slot missions are a great way to acquire weapons, gear and more. However, they can be difficult to do.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot providers is a unique slot that lets you bring pistols in to a mission. Smuggled Item Slot

The smuggled items slot a great feature that allows players to bring weapons and tools into the game, but it can be improved. It's currently designed to resemble a pistol, which makes it difficult to differentiate the weapon slot smuggled by smugglers from other slots for gear.

The smuggle Famous slots are used to store a wide range of items ranging from concussion devices and weapons grade explosives to subtle concussions. These items are hidden in locations throughout the map. They can be picked up at anytime. Smuggled items are different from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes that hide small objects in scenery and objects.

Mission planning is a feature that is available in short-term missions that allow players to discover different starting locations as well as smuggled items and gear slots prior to their entry into the map. The options for planning increase as players progress through challenges and unlock higher Mission Mastery levels. This lets players prepare the best mission for famous Slots each challenge.

Gear Slot

Early on in the game players will notice that their gear slots fill up, leading to the frequently-repeated "Your Gear jackpot slots are Full" message which prevents Max from acquiring new equipment until old items are cleared or a larger space is found. Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials are the solution to this problem. They give players more inventory space for completing challenges. However, as the majority of these challenges are scattered across the globe and are easily missed, it can take an extended time to obtain the maximum number of inventory slots in the game.

The five Gear Slots of a player can be filled with up to 5 different types of gear, which must be selected in the Gear Selection menu before a Break-In can begin. Each gear item (except the Pistol) takes up one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like a group of Grenades of the same type) only has one Gear Slot.

Agency pick-ups

As you advance through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock various agency pickups that are on the map. These locations allow you to store items that do not fit in your slot for weapons or gear and retrieve them later.

These pickups can be very useful if your mission requires you to pass through a frisk, or if you have a weapon on you that could cause suspicion. You are only able to hide one item at a pickup location.

This DLC adds new contracts for asset protection and security to the agency. To start these missions, just talk to the agency receptionist and purchase armor and snacks. Once you've reached the mission marker, identify a mob when you arrive.
