What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

Transparent device that can evolve certain Pokemon species. It was created by Silph Co.

The item level upgrade upgrader adds a brand new widget at the top of the Angel and Cash Upgrade windows. This Manager is a cost of 33 billion Angel Investors, and has no benefit in terms of gameplay other than making it easier to buy upgrades.

Boosts

With an upgrader for your item you will be able to enjoy a number of bonuses. They can include stats, as well as bonus bonuses. These bonuses can be applied to weapons or armor, as well trinkets. Some items have a built-in boos which is less beneficial when upgraded. For instance, the Goldwrap offers an additional potion slot. These are usually upgraded to add more value to a near-perfect or perfect item upgrader kit.

Costs

There are a few costs related to upgrades of items. The most significant cost is the upgrade itself. The cost is based on the item's new ilvl and the number of perks it gains and is often expensive. Upgrades to higher levels (such as Explorer to Champion or Veteran to Heroic) can be costly.

The second is the cost of the items needed to upgrade. The items used are typically either Power Dices (dropped by monsters 21and up) or Minerals and Erons (obtainable by completing certain Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor quests). The amount of these items required is available in the inventory of an upgrade vendor.

The process of upgrading an item is a complex process that requires time. Based on the magnitude of the upgrade, it could take as long as 8 hours. The base stats of an upgraded item are calculated based on the new ilvl as well as other properties. This calculation determines the new Armor Class bonus, damage dice, and other crucial stats. In certain cases the upgrade will provide additional perks that can be selected from a list of advantages.

It is also possible to add a range of additional materials to the upgrade, which increases its chance of success. The materials are displayed in a window located above the + button. However, there are limitations to this, and the highest amount of material that can be added is shown just above the + button in the UI.

A Blacksmith Blessing, or an upgraded version, can be used to boost the odds of an upgrade being successful. This item is useful in the event that your item or weapon is close to or has reached the top level of its tier. It will let you upgrade that piece of gear to the next level without worrying about it breaking.
