The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping using app-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is impressive. It also automatically refills and self-empties its water tank.

1. iRobot Roomba j7+

The Roomba J7+ is iRobot's most advanced robot vacuum to date. Its most significant innovation is a camera-based obstacle detection system that makes use of built-in AI to detect objects like charging cords, shoes, and the dreaded pet waste that many other robots are unable to avoid (and often go through). It's also the first to automatically send you photos of any object it encounters so that you can tell it to stay clear of it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop we have ever tested. It removes dirt and spills easily leaving no trace it was there. The iRobot application makes it simple to control. It can schedule cleanings and even create Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't clean in areas you don’t wish to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it with a voice.

Its design is also superior to the rest and features a sleek, top piece that looks more like a toy robotic than a loud, obnoxious one. The Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System automatically empty which is great to speed up cleaning.

In our tests, we found that the j7+ quickly eliminated dirt, dust and pet hair. The rubber brushes that counter-rotate kept the debris in place, instead of scattering it on the floor. It was able to collect sand, small gravel and even a bit of grit. Most robots could not achieve this feat. It did all of this without getting tangled up in our pet's hair shedding.

While it's not quite as smart as the $1,217 iRobot Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum, and it's not able to clean stairs The j7+ is still a solid option for those who require both mopping and a vac in their home. It's not expensive and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, however we found it less reliable than other robotic vacuum cleaner best cleaner apps. It can take a while to download updates, and it can be difficult to know whether they're working until you actually see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

When you're looking for a vacuum that does more than simply clean floors, the most effective option is likely to be hybrid. These robots come with a water tank, so they can vacuum and mop at the same time. These bots also have many additional features, including smart mapping and small object avoidance and the possibility of washing and re-drying mopping pads. The negative is that they tend to be pricey at full retail, but during Black Friday and Cyber Monday they often drop in price.

Roborock produces some of our favorite robotic vacuums and the Q5+ is no exception. fail to impress. It's the cheapest model of their auto-empty line. While it may not come with some of the expensive features (like no-go areas and multi-story memories), it's still a great choice if you are willing to compromise to save a few bucks.

The Q5+ is noticeable gentle around obstacles like wall legs and table legs, which makes it an excellent option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also extremely thorough when it comes to cleaning dust bunnies, which is an area which many robot vac vacuums fail. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is excellent as well, with only a few missed corners and along walls.

The Q5+, just like other Roborock products, can be controlled by a few buttons on the device, or via the Roborock App. The app lets you begin and stop cleanings, set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones and modify your home map, or change the labels of rooms.

If you choose the Q5+ model, it includes a new auto-emptying dock, designed to make the robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver, but once in place it can be done with relative ease. It features a large LCD screen, which is useful when setting up schedules and adjusting settings. This isn't a necessity for everyone but it will assist you in keeping the track of your robot's maintenance intervals effortlessly.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a clever well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of both vacuuming and mopping. Its design is one of the best in the industry however, it's costly.

Its base station looks good and is hidden when it's not in use, and its size is quite compact. But the station's main selling feature is the way it automatizes numerous tasks and functions that other robots leave up to you. It stores clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which the majority of other robots require you to do) also emptying the dustbin after vacuuming, and keeps your robot clean and charged.

Its vacuuming performance is also impressive. It's the only robovac that I've used that has done an excellent job of removing dirt from floors that aren't. It's also not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.

The Freo X Ultra is not free of faults, especially when it comes to navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren’t as reliable as other robovacs. This means it can get stuck or get confused in certain corners or rooms in the home. It can't navigate stairs as well as competitors, either and doesn't come with an dock that allows the user to set up an area for cleaning that is specifically designed for carpets that are soft.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent option for those looking for an automated vacuum that can do everything.

However, if you're looking to save some cash, or just don't care about the limitations of this robot there are many other great choices available with a wide range of eufy models that cost considerably less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for example, is cheaper and offers the same experience in the app, but with more features like the ability to climb stairs, a full-function dock, and a better overall vacuuming performance on bare floors as well as high- and low-pile carpets.

4. Eufy RoboVac G30

eufy, an Anker company, has a track record of producing robot vacuum cleaner industrial vacuums that strike the right balance between features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different it offers a high-quality cleaning on hard floors and carpets and mopping function too at a price that is affordable. It's simple to set up, simply attach one of the side brushes, turn it on and plug in your charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps needed to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock will need to be located near an outlet and have plenty of room to move.

The G30 is small, 2.85 inches tall to be exact and can be placed under couches and other furniture with a low clearance. The design is less ostentatious than some rival models, sporting sleek black finish and three physical buttons such as Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge, and Spot Cleaning (which cleans the area in an arc for two minutes). You can also link the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to conduct cleaning without a schedule using voice commands.

The most important aspect that sets the G30 above the rest is the method it cleans. It uses an integrated map to create an image of the unmovable items in its path. It remembers the things it has cleaned and where it cannot access. It will return to the base to recharge and then continues cleaning where it left off.

The eufy G30 has its flaws, though. The iRobot Roomba is better built and has lower recurring costs. It charges faster, has a similar battery life, and performs better on bare floors or low-pile carpet. It comes with a larger dust bin that does not require more emptying. It also has boundary strips that keep it from certain areas. The G30 is, however, is more affordable and much simpler to maintain. Its smaller canister means it doesn't need to be emptied as frequently, and it has less difficulty handling bulky products like cereal.
