The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great option if you're looking to buy a mid-priced mop and robot vacuum. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but doesn't have the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

During tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats out of medium-pile carpets. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't use LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It has impressive cleaning power and a variety of features such as an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. It can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automated schedules for a truly hands-free experience.

It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning process at the push of the button. You can opt for an overall clean that focuses on the removal of large debris such as rice and cereal, or opt for two thorough mappings of your home to ensure that your home is properly arranged.

This robot vacuum is effective on both floors that are bare and carpet with a low pile. It is able to take large objects and does not lose suction as fast as some others do and can pick up pet hair without much difficulty. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot says it will get better with future models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which will allow it to be able to swaddle walls and furniture. It's a nice change from the traditional hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ comes with an advanced filtering system that blocks tiny dust particles and allergens from recirculating in your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the premium price tag.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to keep track of the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map the interior of your home. This allows it to avoid obstacles, like stairs and other barriers, and also to clean your whole home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, as well as set up virtual boundary markers, so that it can recognize areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those found on higher-end models. And its mopping system is superior because its spinning pads clean your floors more effectively than the vibrating pads.

The only drawback is the absence of a second brush for more thorough cleaning. But that's not a big deal when you're looking to purchase one of the top robots on the market. If it comes into contact with the wall or a furniture piece, it gently bumps into it and then moves along.

What makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost autonomously with very little need for user intervention. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that automatically transfers physical garbage into the bin hidden in the background and also washes and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app will only notify you if something is wrong, such as the water tank being empty or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to an empty bin.

You can also create or combine actual rooms to personalize the way Q Revo handles your home. This feature is helpful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home, or in the event that you have to regularly get rid of clutter like toys, clothes and books. The best robot floor scrubber vacuum was also one of the best inexpensive robot vacuum performers in my test and was able to remove debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first pass. 3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a high-end robot vacuum and mop combo and more. It comes with a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that works even if you are not at home. It also comes with a smart routing function that lets it clean specific areas or rooms of your home, instead of following a set path.

The X2 Omni is the most effective mopping robot. Its mop pads that rotate remove tough stains and its motor creates a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding too and it enhances suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does a thorough job. It also has a massive battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as the ones we've seen on the market for a consumer best robot vacuum cleaner and mop.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium mop and robot vacuum that comes with a host of convenience features you do not often find on robots at this price range. It is able to create precise floor maps and recognize various flooring types. It's also one of the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These are nice features however they can place the L10s in the premium category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners want.

Created to resemble a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish accented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper that helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage when moving through the home. In the pane in the front is an additional navigation technology with sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's a single button that essentially acts as an on/off switch. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, while clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The circular menu in the middle of the control panel allows you to select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will bring up the app's settings menu where you can modify how the L10s Ultra works with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of cameras and LIDAR technology to map out your home.
