It does not allow you to create Keep-Out Zones, or clean specific rooms, which is crucial when your home is on more than one floor. To get that feature, you might be interested in the Roborock Q5+ instead, that has a superior smart-mapping system and offers a lot more customization options in its easy-to-use app.

2. Shark Matrix

However it's not as intelligent as the Shark AI Robot and has more components that must be regularly cleaned. It's more solid and has longer battery life however, it costs more to operate.

5. Roomba iRobot i7 from iRobot

The Roomba i7 is unique in that it comes with an automatic dirt disposal system built into its base. When it's docked, the line on the Clean Base automatically suctions debris from the bin into a special bag named Smart Maps by iRobot. It's a neat, tidy way to dump your robot's bin. It also will save you the hassle of lifting out the old bin and letting it fly around (which usually leads to the occasional dust splosion). This top-rated model comes with a minimal operating cost. You'll need to purchase a new bag each time the old one is full and, while they're fairly cheap, you can feel bad about throwing them to the trash.

You can begin cleaning your home right after you have paired the i7+ with its Clean Base, or instruct it to perform some exploratory runs without vacuuming first to make an outline of your floor. Once you have a map of the space you can use iRobot's app to label rooms and construct virtual barriers. You can also create the time for cleaning specific to certain rooms.

The i7+ is a top-of-the-line robot vacuum, and although it's extremely efficient and comes with all the features you could want in the home automation space, it comes at the price of a product that's difficult to justify for the majority.
