MadeForMums test-tested the Cybex Avi Spin for us and was able to go on a test run with one of Australia's best lightweight stroller for rough terrain all terrain prams (see it here) middle distance runners, Genevieve Gregson who recently became mother to her daughter. We asked Genevieve Gregson about what she thought about the pram and if it could be improved.

The Avi Spin is a fantastic all-terrain pram that provides the flexibility a modern family needs from day one. The front swivel wheel is unrivalled for maneuverability in tight city corners, and the tyres that are filled with air provide comfortable cushioning for city walks, nature walks or even runs. The swing can be locked to provide additional stability when running on rough terrain. The fully reclining seat is ergonomically designed to lie flat and is suitable from birth. The strap that is one-pull makes it easier to access and exit the seat, while the compact folding design makes it simple to store and transport. Wheels can be easily removed to create smaller fold. The brake lever is located on the right hand side of the handlebar, which can make it difficult to operate using just one hand.

Out N About Nipper V5

With the Out N About Nipper V5, you can take your child for adventurous off-road strolls and jogging in total peace and comfort. The Dualfix M i-Size is one of their car seats that's worth investing in. It's extremely easy to put in (it is able to snap right into the chassis with a reassuring sound) and it will last until they're 4 years old.

It's built with soft, deep side wings that cocoon your little one to help reduce the force of an impact and their high back design gives optimal head protection. It also comes with an intelligent feature that lets you know when the seat is properly installed and gives you peace of mind.

There are a myriad of other features too like intelligent lighting that alters colour to indicate when your child is tired or hungry. There's also an air-con slot to keep your child cool, and an extra-large hood with mosquito protection.

It has a few drawbacks though it's not cheap, and if you're looking for something to use from birth to the age of then you might struggle to get a better deal elsewhere. It's also a bit heavy, so you may require help to carry it into your car. There are a few tiny honeycomb-like areas that are exposed in the lower part of the seat that could serve as a breeding ground for vomit and spilled drinks.
