WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boost to certain stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of the item upgrading by +3. Each upgrade also boosts the random substatus.

The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless the item has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are not as useful for those with higher variance because of the requirement to roll an exact version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader (hop over to this site) allows players to upgrade their gear to a higher level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of armor or weapon. The item used to upgrade the item will be consumed and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create enchantments.

The upgrader can be found in all major cities and can be accessed anytime to upgrade your equipment. To ensure that your equipment is up-to-date it is recommended you visit the upgrader every several weeks.

The cost of upgrades will depend on the current item level of the item being upgraded, but will always be cheaper than purchasing new equipment from other sources. Upgrades are functional items that can be used to level up weapons and tools, armor and other accessories. They are purchased by players from item upgrader NPCs in exchange for a variety of currencies, and can be found in random treasure lists.
