Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop

If you need to clean up your mess quickly, a robot vacuum cleaner and mop is the way to go. The best robot vacuums and mops I test had superior mapping and navigation. They picked up Cheerios and fake dog turds as well as wires that were tangled.

However, it had trouble with finely engrained debris and wasn't always able to get rid of raised thresholds for rooms. Its operating noise level is also quite high, so it may be less of a set-and-forget model than some.

Like most robotic vacuums and mops, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that lets you refill its clean water as well as empty its dustbin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easy and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors according to the regular schedule. You can manage all of its functions via the Eufy app. It provides an easy overview and lots of configuration options.

5. Freo X Ultra

6. S10

A few hundred dollars less than the S8 This robot does an excellent job at keeping my home office tidy and is able to take on the corners of my tight apartment. It makes use of laser mapping and a camera to build an outline of your home, so it knows where not to go. It has an object/obstacle detector that can avoid things like toys and dog bowls (but not Poop) unlike most vacuums.

It has other great notable features, like an automatic vacuum and mop emptying dust bin, a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable to the temperature of the water and a side-reaching sweeper brush that can get to places that other mops don't. You can also adjust the settings for each room and create cleaning schedules.

It comes with the same multi-room smart mapping as the S8 and can differentiate between carpets and laminate with high-pile rugs. It also lets you skip mopping rooms that are not clean if you want to reduce time. It's a great option when you have a mix of flooring in your home but aren't looking to spend the extra money for a Roborock with advanced mapping features.

7. Q5 Pro

This robot is a great choice if you are looking for a robot that can perform regular daily maintenance and touch-ups for wet messes. It has a range of features, including a self emptying dustbin, a separate dock to refill water, and adjustable settings that can be adjusted via the app. It's surprisingly quiet and easily moves around furniture legs or socks. However, it can't pick up the tangled tassels of rugs, and its battery drains slightly more quickly than other models in our tests.

The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerhouse that offers an impressive suction and easy automation in a sleek design. It didn't perform as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests as the much more expensive Roborock S8MaxV Ultra however it did extremely well overall. It has a range of cleaning modes, from the low-power 'Quiet mode' for light debris to the incredibly powerful Turbo mode for carpeted areas. It can even be programmed to automatically remove and reattach mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a great robot vacuum and mop for people who live in tiny spaces. It's fast and quiet, and it can navigate tight spaces efficiently. It's also excellent at removing pet hair from carpeting.

It's smaller than most of its competition, but it doesn't sacrifice features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be set to take photos of each object it finds (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys), and mark them in the app as 'not located' so that they are not removed in future cleanings. Its photos are encrypted, and not tied to you account.

It's great for vacuuming, but not so well at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that are clipped to the bot's bottom and drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal with reservoirs of water, and can automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
