The object detection is also hit-and-miss. It was able to skirt around furniture and other obstacles but got stuck on a looser rug with tassels and needed to turn to release itself. These are minor issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great option for those looking for a cleaning companion that does all of the above.

Its navigation system performed well. It stayed clear of stairs and navigated close to walls without falling. However, it did struggle with fine-grained debris and was not always able to clear raised room thresholds. Its operating sound level is also quite high, so this model may not be as easy to set and forget as the other models.

The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, has a docking systems that allow it to refill its clean water tank, empty the dust bin as well as dry and wash the mop, and empty its mop pad. This makes upkeep easy and helps the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors in a routine schedule. Eufy's app allows you to manage all the functions. A few hundred dollars less than the S8, this robot does an excellent job at keeping my home office spotless and also tackle the corners of my tight apartment. It uses laser mapping and camera to create a 3D map of your home, so it can know what to stay clear of. It also has a detector for objects and obstructions that can block things like toys and dog bowls (but not Poop) unlike most vacuums.

Other fantastic features include a self-emptying dustbin and a mop that is self-washing and adjustable for water temperature, and a side-reaching mops that can reach areas that other mops miss. You can also set your own cleaning schedule in the app and customize the settings for each room in your home.

It features the same multi-room smart mapping that is found in the S8 and is able to distinguish between laminate and carpets, with high-pile rugs. If you're looking to cut down on time, it will skip mopping in rooms that aren't dirty. If you have a wide range of flooring options in your home and don't want to invest additional money for a Roborock with advanced mapping features, this is a great choice.

7. Q5 Pro

This robot is a great option if you are seeking a flexible robot cleaner with mop that can handle regular maintenance on a daily basis and touch-ups to messy water stains. It offers a broad range of features including self-emptying dustbins, the water refill dock, as well as adjustable settings within the app. It is surprisingly quiet and can easily maneuver around furniture legs or socks. It's not able to remove knotted rug tassels, and its battery drains quicker than other models we tested in our tests.

It has a decent amount of suction power, and it is able to take photos of every object it picks up (i.e., chew toys, socks, etc.)) and mark them as 'not found in the app, so that they don't get taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are secure and aren't connected to your account.

It does a fantastic job of vaccuming, but it isn't quite as efficient at mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes you clip to the bottom of the bot and then it drags them around your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal that come with water reservoirs that automatically wash and reattach their mophead.
